 Red Bootie
Red Bootie is a company producing great kids' shoes for boys and girls. They needed an exciting and active website presence, which we achieved with animation, music and games. The Red Bootie website was developed in 2004 and is still a modern and fun website to visit.
The Red Bootie website features:
Animation introduction with original music - First we created an animation using Flash animation. The character Red Bootie starts off on a skate board, skating and bopping along to the Red Bootie theme music. He is then on a uni-cycle and then playing guitar. Then came the original Red Bootie song, which was written and recorded by Melbourne Online for the website and the TV screened advertisment.
We created and then programmed collection of exciting kids games . Being a childrens' website all the games needed to be easy to use and play There's everything from puzzles to a version of Red Bootie space invaders.
An activity centre was also requested as part of the online experience, with downloadable colouring images, mazes, find-a-word and cut out mobile play sets.
Store locator was created for the Red Bootie website, to make it easy to find a store near the viewer that stock the Red Bootie line of shoes. This can be done by clicking on a map or entering a post code.
